CardioA source for energy release which is necessary for most programs. Proper execution of cardio can be very rewarding, helping you develop endurance, boosting your mood, heart function and immune system. Cardio exercise also helps to lower body fat and decrease depression and some chronic diseases.
Resistance TrainingResistance training develops more than just muscles. There is a direct link between lean body mass (LBM) and a higher metabolism. Hence, the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn. Benefits include improved energy, power and bone density. LBM improvement and maintenance may also reduce stress, hypertension and osteoporosis.
