Fitness Programs Descriptions
ACTIVE ISOLATED STRETCH: The Active Isolated Stretching (A.I.S.) method of muscle and fascia release is founded on controlling the body’s stretch reflexes. The A.I.S. method myofascial release technique uses active movement of the muscles on the opposite side of the muscles being stretched. Using a 1.5 – 2 second stretch has proven to be the key in avoiding contraction of the muscles and connective tissue that is being stretched. Stretches encompassing the entire body from neck to toes, are performed for 5 repetitions of 2 seconds in duration for each muscle group.
MORNING STRETCH: This full body stretch class is meant to lengthen your muscles, relieve physical tension, and condition and strengthen the abdominals and lower-back muscles.
AB ATTACK: An intense 15 minute strength workout for the abdominal area.
TURBO ABS: Looking for an ab workout that’s a little more intense? This is the class for you!
POWER ABS: This is a class created for all levels of students. This class provides a great work out focusing on abdominal muscles strengthening and endurance, making a fun and challenging class!
AWESOME ARMS AND LEGS: This class is recommended for students interesting in toning upper body muscles and lower body muscles, in order to feel and look great! Also, in this class dumbbells, step, and bands are used to increase work out!
Get it Right...Get it Tight!: This circuit style sports conditioning class is loaded with agility and quickness drills, as well as strengthening exercises for the already active person who wants to burn more calories in less time. You want to have an athletic body? Then train like an athlete.
BODY SCULPTING: This class will introduce you to low impact aerobics and toning exercises which include;, traditional hi/lo aerobics and/or step plus get a complete strength training workout using bands, weights and BOSU.
BOSU BODY PUMP: The BOSU acronym stands for “Both Sides Utilized”. At its essence, BOSU Training is about expanding movement capabilities while reshaping the body and strengthening the mind. It is comprised of thoughtful movement that requires the participant to not only be physically involved, but also “here and present” with the mind fully engaged. BOSU Training can be physically demanding, but, it is appropriate to a variety of fitness levels and physical capabilities. Use BOSU Training to help enhance performance across a wide continuum of activities including sport, recreation and daily tasks.
CARDIO KICKBOXING WITH BAGS: This is a cardio kick boxing class that utilizes punching bags and gloves (which you must supply yourself). The class is an upper level work out that focuses on cardio and self-defense. It is a great total body workout!
CARDIO TONE: A high energy, addictive workout combining cardio kickboxing, aerobics and body toning while having fun. This is interval based so that participants of any fitness level can tailor their workout. We will start with a warm up, move into a high cardio exercise and end with a great toning of abs and legs.
SPIN: Bring your outdoor cycling training indoors! Geared to both novice and veteran exercisers. Experience athletic, adrenaline pumping, authentic cycling.
MAT PILATES: Whether you're looking to increase flexibility, gain core strength, ward off low back pain, or simply improve your overall quality of life, this class is for you! This class is mat-based but may make use of some small props at the discretion of the instructor. Enjoy a non-competitive atmosphere where exercises are modified to meet everyone's needs, from those with health concerns to the very athletic.
YOGA: Asana (poses) are linked together by breathing. Poses flow from one movement into another. This class utilizes a variety of poses with breath control to explore physical and mental limitations, with the intention of deepening the connection with the one's self.

POWER YOGA: is a form of Astanga Yoga which addresses strengthening and conditioning of the entire body and mind. This class is an all-levels class where beginners can jump right in, yet an advanced student can be thoroughly challenged. Also known for its vigorous nature, Power Yoga makes you sweat either through constant movement in and out of poses also called Vinyasa (breath synchronized movement) or from holding poses for an extended period of time. Yoga means "union of mind and body,” and a consistent practice will increase strength, balance, endurance, and flexibility. Ultimately the goal of this practice is to create a life condition which is more efficient, productive and fulfilling in the challenges of all
our daily endeavors.
VINYASA FLOW YOGA: a steady dynamic flow of connected yoga asanas (poses) linked with breath work in a continuous movement
HATHA YOGA: A gentle relaxing form of yogic exercises that combine difficult postures (which force the mind to withdraw from the outside world) with controlled breathing
