Water Exercise Classes

All our water exercise classes are low to no impact on your joints.They are suitable for students of all swimming skills; you are welcome and encouraged to go at your own pace. Our instructors are here to motivate you and push you to the next level when you are ready.

 

Aqualogix Fitness:

Bring your weight training into the water! By utilizing new Aqualogix products our instructors can push you further and harder than our other water exercise classes. You may drop in late or leave early to this class.

 

Arthritis Foundation Aquatics Program:

A non-impact endurance and conditioning class for those with arthritis or other orthopedic problems. Focus is on joint range of motion, increasing muscular endurance and flexibility. All of our instructors have certifications through the Arthritis Foundation to teach aquatics.

 

Deep H20:                     

A non-impact, deep water cardio class. You do not need to know how to swim to do well in this class. Flotation devices are provided and used to keep your head above water. The focus is to increase cardiovascular fitness and increase muscular strength and tone.

 

MS Society Aquatic Exercise:           

This class is designed for those with Multiple Sclerosis. Participants must

be a member of the MS Society. You will enjoy a social atmosphere while

exercising and increasing function and well-being. The class includes

aerobic exercise, strengthening, balance, and stretching.

 

Shallow Aqua Fit:                                    

A low-impact, shallow water cardio class. You do not need to know

how to swim to do well in this class. Focus is on achieving and

maintaining aerobic levels. Toning and firming muscles, increasing

cardiovascular fitness and strengthening the core are the focus.

 

**The following classes require prior swimming experience:

 

Beginner Water Polo Clinic:

Learn the basic rules of water polo while developing  your egg beater, shooting and passing skills. This is a great supplement for advanced players to practice their skills and build endurance through drills.

 

Water Polo:

Drop in for an intense workout of egg beater, swimming, passing,

shooting drills and SCRIMMAGE! A great way to have fun while

getting a workout!

 

Swim Clinic:

Designed for swimmers with little or no team experience, or those

who would like help with their endurance and/or stroke technique.

A coach will provide workouts and be available to help individuals

with their specific technical needs. A great class for new

tri athletes, surfers, wake boarders, windsurfers, etc…
