Ping Pong Tournament
Come show off your table tennis skills and enter for the chance to win a $100 gift card to Rip Curl. The game will be played between two players randomly assigned to a time bracket. Participants will play to 11 (rally score). This fun event is open to all members. Sign up at the front desk to reserve your spot.

Coed Slow Pitch Softball
Show off your batting skills and meet some new people with the Wave House softball team. The Spring League runs February-June. There are only 16 spots available, so sign up at the front desk of the Athletic Club to reserve your spot. Only open to members.

Water Jogging
Water Jogging provides a great cardio and strength training
workout. General health benefits
include: lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol and higher energy levels.
Water jogging also provides minimal stress on a person’s joints while
increasing their range of motion. Since
this exercise requires no impact, water jogging is ideal for individuals
recovering from an injury or who have arthritis.
When: Monday through Friday, 7-8am

Dodgeball
What are the 5 D’s of dodgeball?
“Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.” This is not the typical dodgeball that was
taught in P.E. class; here at Wave House it’s played on the beach. The object of the game is to eliminate all
opposing players by getting them “out.” This can be done either by hitting an opposing player with a ball or
catching a ball thrown by an opponent before it hits the ground. All general rules will be explained before
the game.
When: Wednesday 5-6pm

Running Club
Most people know that running can lower blood pressure and prevent heart attacks. What people may not be aware of are the mental benefits that are acquired with running which include reduced stress levels, higher confidence and a euphoric state of mind. Whether you’re looking to improve your health or just meet some new people, the running club at Wave House caters to runners on beginning and advanced levels.
Runners have two options:
Option 1 (5 miles): Run bayside to the park on Fanuel St. and return to Wave House Athletic Club.
Option 2 (3 miles): Run bayside to the Catamaran Hotel and return to Wave House Athletic Club.
When: Saturday 11:00am-12:00pm
